Now I'd like to talk a little about the way that blogging on Creative Wargaming has changed me. First of all, it has made me much braver. I now have a place to state my opinions and to talk about what I do, not about anything else. I've sent many sponsorship offers and been turned down many times, so I know what it means to fail. However, that never stopped me from enjoying blogging.
I've spent quite a bit of money on wargaming and gaming in general, without regretting it. I'm still very careful about how I spend my money, but I've realized that it's not always bad to get something fun for myself or even to "impulse buy" every once and a while.
Another thing I've discovered is just how big wargaming is. When I started playing Warhammer 40,000, I didn't know a single person who would play with me! But as I got more involved in the community, I found out that some friends that I already knew played 40K! Imagine my excitement!
Okay, now that we've looked back a bit, I'd like to talk about the future of Creative Wargaming. Basically, I'm going to continue wargaming and improving the blog. One thing I'm ashamed of and would like to do more of are Battle Reports. Of course I'd like to play new games! Also, I'm always open to sponsors, so please contact me if you'd like to become an advertising!
Now for probably the most important part of this post, the thank-you. First of all, I'd like to thank you, the readers! Nobody is motivated to post when they have no views! You stuck with me through all of my crazy, mangled, illegible posting and even gave me some likes! You are the real stars of this show, so THANK YOU!
Next, I want to send a warm thank-you to all of my sponsors, past and present. I'm still in shock that you decided to sponsor such an insignificant little blog. I've enjoyed having all of you so much! I hope we can continue to be partners! THANK YOU to Noble Knight Games, Blue Table Painting and Miniature Market!
Finally, wish me luck for another awesome year of Creative Wargaming!
